Each product solves one problem for one group of people. A deck calculator that sizes framing. A dashboard that shows a household its week. Narrow tools that do their job, rather than a suite that half-does forty.
Pricing you can read in one line
The trade calculators are a one-time unlock at the price shown in the store — no subscription. RoseStorie has a free tier and paid plans, because it runs servers that cost money every month. Either way the price is in front of you before you commit, and there's nothing clever hidden underneath it.
Your data stays close
The calculators run entirely offline — no account, no signal required. RoseStorie lets you self-host the open pieces or have them run for you, and switch between the two. Where a product can work without phoning home, it does.
Who’s behind it
StorieDev is one person: Steven Storie, a software engineer in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Everything here is built outside of a day job, which is why the catalogue is broad and the products are small.
